Good afternoon,

For one of our clients, a leading provider of safety-critical communication solutions, I am looking for an experienced Technical Solution Manager to support a long-term defence program. You will act as the key link between customers, engineering teams and project stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery of complex technical solutions.

Project:

Active Security Clearance (SÜ) is mandatory before project start.

Profile:

Technical Environment

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: long term contract for 1,5 year
• Type of employment: Full-time, Freelance
• Location: Vienna (high onsite presence during the first 6 months -85% on site, rest remotely) afterwards more remote possible
• Business trips: max. 1-2 trips per year to Salzburg, possibly Karlsruhe
• Project languages: English (Fluent) German (Fluent)
• Technical training with a focus on IT or telecommunications
• Several years of experience in customer-facing technical projects
• Experience working between customers, engineering, and development teams
• Strong ability to convert complex requirements into practical solution architectures
• Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and networking
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Confident presentation skills and professional customer interaction
• Detail-oriented and solution-driven mindset
• VMware, KVM
• Windows Server & Red Hat Linux
• Cisco Routing & Switching
• Active Directory
• VoIP Technologies
• Monitoring Tools (e.g., Zabbix)

• Gather, analyze, and structure customer requirements
