Assignment Description

We are looking for a technical tester level 3, which is normally achieved after 4-8 years of work experience in the field.

As a tester at Skatteverket, you will work practically with testing new systems that will be integrated with and replace existing solutions. Your focus is on ensuring the quality of the system's functionality and that it meets the business's requirements. The work covers the entire test chain, where you perform thorough tests, identify and report deviations, and validate that the problems are resolved.

You are also responsible for creating and executing test cases based on requirements and specifications. In your role, you ensure that the correct test data is used and that the documentation for testing is correct and up-to-date. You also participate in integration tests to validate that the new system works in conjunction with other parts of Skatteverket's IT ecosystem.

Experience with requirements management and understanding of business needs is an advantage, as it helps you prioritize and perform tests that provide the greatest benefit. You have previous experience working with tests in complex environments and are used to documenting your work to create transparency and traceability.

Security Clearance:

Skatteverket is covered by the Security Protection Act, which means the assignment may be placed in a security class. This involves, among other things, requirements for a security clearance of the consultant and that a subcontractor must enter into a security protection agreement.

Before a security protection agreement can be entered into, Skatteverket is obliged to conduct a suitability assessment of the subcontractor in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) Chapter 4, Sections 7-8.

The scope of the security clearance will be communicated at a later stage of the selection process. The process for establishing a security protection agreement and conducting a security clearance and any background check usually takes 8-12 weeks from the assignment's allocation, but can take both longer or shorter time. If the assignment is placed in a security class, the assignment cannot begin before this process has been completed and a start date has been communicated by the client.

Information about interviews:

If the candidate is presented to the client, the candidate must be available for an interview within seven (7) working days from the candidate receiving a summons from Upgraded.

Requirements

Knowledge: high competence in the relevant area, role, software, and language.

Experience: has participated in several assignments within the relevant area, role, software, language, and completed the assignments with high quality. Is a role model for other consultants at a lower level.

Leadership: takes responsibility for a sub-area or program, language, can lead a small group.

Independence: can work independently.

• At least 4 years of experience working as a technical tester or test automation engineer
• Good understanding of system architecture and integrations
• Experience with test automation
• Experience with API testing
• Consultant must achieve at least competence level 3 according to the framework agreement: Normally achieved after 4-8 years.
• Experience with test management
• Experience with quality assurance using AI
• Experience with testing event-driven architecture
• Be results-oriented
• Have good cooperation skills, be helpful, and have a good demeanor.
• Have the ability and willingness to learn new things, be flexible, and be able to adapt to changes
• Be able to communicate very well in Swedish
