Test Manager, Remote and Hanover

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager (m/f/d). The focus is on applications in payment processing, with reference to risk management and compliance. You will manage testing activities across several departments and ensure that the application continuously and demonstrably improves.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for planning, managing, and coordinating all testing activities
• Creation, coordination, and further development of test strategy, test concepts, and test planning
• Coordination of tests across multiple specialist departments and stakeholders
• Coordination and management of tests in various, sometimes separate, test environments
• Ensuring test quality and monitoring test progress
• Identification, tracking, and escalation of risks, errors, and dependencies
• Test reporting and regular status communication to project management and management
• Establishment and implementation of structures and processes in a dynamic project environment
• Close collaboration with specialist departments, development teams, and other project participants

Requirements

Must-haves

• Many years of project experience in test management, ideally in a comparable environment
• Sound knowledge of test documentation and test reporting
• Good Jira knowledge
• Basic knowledge of project management and project controlling
• Analytical thinking, perseverance, and a structured, communicative way of working
• Fluent German language skills

Nice to have

Framework Conditions

• Knowledge of PMOPlus
• Experience in payment processing as well as with risk and compliance topics in the financial sector
• Experience in implementing an evidence preservation function in a payment processing application
• Certification, e.g., ISTQB
• Start: November 2026
