Job Description

As a Windows Operations Engineer, you are part of the PaaS Windows Operations team of ODC-Noord. You are responsible for the management, maintenance, and further development of the Virtual Machine as a Service (VMaaS) and SaaS services for clients within the government. The work takes place in an environment where reliability, continuity, and collaboration are central.

Assignment Description and Background

The workday starts with a daily stand-up where the current situation, bottlenecks, tickets, and problems are discussed. You then work on the management and optimization of the Windows infrastructure and support clients with incidents and disruptions. You will work closely with incident managers, service desk employees, automation specialists, and network teams. You will also participate in on-call services, where you are available 24/7 for critical incidents for one week.

• Maintaining and improving VMaaS and SaaS services.
