The Water Board Vechtstromen is looking for a Work Preparer to join the Haarvaten op Peil (HOP) program, focusing on increasing freshwater availability and mitigating drought effects. The role involves supporting the project leader and ensuring smooth realization of drought measures.

Assignment Description
Within the Haarvaten op Peil (HOP) program, Water Board Vechtstromen is working to increase freshwater availability and reduce the effects of drought on the Hoge Zandgronden in East Netherlands. For the execution of HOP, the Bosgroepen Oost Nederland is used, among other things. As a cooperative member organization, the Bosgroepen has a unique position of trust with private landowners and estates in our region. Keeping the Bosgroepen engaged within HOP is therefore crucial for maintaining support and the smooth realization of drought measures.
The team consists of a project leader, ecologist, civil engineering advisor/work preparer, and a GIS employee.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of recent work experience as a civil engineering advisor;
- Extensive experience with water system projects in rural areas
- A positive critical view and proactive attitude;
- Experience in the design, preparation, and realization phases of projects
- Experience with the ""drought"" issue in projects
- Experience in dealing with and conversing with stakeholders
