The role involves specialist work in tree maintenance and advice, handling resident inquiries, assessing tree felling requests, and managing related administrative and technical tasks.
Project overview
You are specifically the specialist in the field of maintaining and advising on tree-related issues.
You advise residents on handling complaints, reports, questions, or initiatives.
As a tree specialist, you are involved in handling specific technical matters: assessing felling requests for private trees.
Applying for permits to fell municipal trees.
Translating the results of tree safety inspections (BVC) into measures to be taken.
Procurement of planting material for replacement trees and plantings.
Assessing emergency felling and/or other corrective maintenance for trees; Preparing and assessing tree advice, including tree impact reports.
Preparing and assessing reports for illegal felling.
Substantive support and advice in legal processes concerning trees.
You test spatial design plans for management and implementation aspects.
You support data processing of information in the municipal management system Greenpoint.
Preparing lists of measures for pruning and felling work.
Bussum, Naarden, Muiden, and Muiderberg together form the municipality of Gooise Meren, with over 60,000 inhabitants.

- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the last 7 years as a work preparer or Green/Tree manager within a municipality
- Demonstrably in possession of a valid VCA certificate
- Immediately available for the entire duration of the assignment, including possible extensions
- An additional completed certification and/or training in tree safety
- You have demonstrable work experience with Greenpoint within a municipality
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the last 7 years as a work preparer or Tree manager within a municipality
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience in processing additional and less work from contractors within landscaping
