Information Security Expert

Project overview

We are looking for an Information Security Expert (Medior/Senior) for a client in banking. Focus on Vulnerability Management, security tool administration, and penetration testing coordination across on-premise and cloud environments.

Project requirements

• strengthening the Vulnerability Management and Penetration Testing area in a banking environment with a focus on identifying, evaluating, and managing security vulnerabilities
• collaboration within an approximately 20-member department and a smaller 3-member team
• administration, configuration, and support of vulnerability management tools, such as Nessus, Tenable.io, Blackite, ServiceNow, and Orca
• ensuring Vulnerability Management across on-premise infrastructure, cloud environments, endpoints, and CI/CD
• detection and evaluation of vulnerabilities using security tools and AI
• coordination and management of Penetration Testing, including penetration tests, Red Team activities, and configuration audits
• providing consulting support to IT and business teams in the area of vulnerability management and related security risks
• processing, adherence to, and support of processes in the area of vulnerability management and security testing
• collaboration and documentation creation primarily in the Czech language, using English in both written and oral communication
• long-term full-time cooperation with 3 days onsite in Prague and 2 days remote per week
• essential experience and knowledge:
• practical experience with the administration and support of vulnerability management tools, such as Nessus, Tenable.io, Blackite, ServiceNow or Orca
• knowledge of Vulnerability Management across on-premise, cloud, endpoint, and CI/CD environments
• experience in coordinating and managing penetration tests and security audits
• ability to provide IT security consulting with regard to business requirements
• ability to quickly orient oneself in new or unknown technologies and propose suitable solutions
• independence, responsibility, reliability, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team
• communication skills, ability for logical argumentation and knowledge sharing
• knowledge of Czech for daily communication and documentation
• knowledge of English at level B1-B2 for written and oral communication
• other relevant experience:
• experience with vulnerability detection using security tools and AI
• experience with process management in IT security
• advantageous:
• previous experience in a banking environment
• relevant certifications in penetration testing or vulnerability management tool administration
