Solution Architect [Microsoft 365 Security]

Project overview

We are looking for a senior candidate for the role of Solution Architect focusing on Microsoft 365 Security for our telecommunications client on a project for comprehensive cloud environment security and optimization.

Project requirements

• comprehensive analysis and security of a large-scale cloud environment for a leading market player, including detailed security assessment, risk identification, and subsequent implementation of configuration changes
• complete end-to-end coverage of the entire process from initial threat identification through architecture design to hands-on configuration and final delivery of a functional solution
• daily utilization of a cutting-edge security stack including Microsoft 365 Security, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Intune
• application of Zero Trust security concepts and continuous improvement of Secure Score parameters
• ensuring seamless identity synchronization from on-premise Active Directory to the cloud environment of Entra ID
• hybrid collaboration in Prague with a 40% onsite and 60% remote split
• extensive experience with:
• architecting and implementing Microsoft 365 Security across an enterprise environment (ideally 5+ years of experience)
• configuring and managing Entra ID including advanced features such as MFA, Conditional Access, PIM, and Identity Governance
• implementing the Microsoft Defender ecosystem for Endpoint, Office 365, and Identity
• configuring and managing policies within Microsoft Intune (especially MDM/MAM, compliance, and security policies)
• experience with:
• Microsoft Purview technology for comprehensive data protection (DLP, Sensitivity Labels, Retention solutions)
• the process of synchronizing from on-premise Active Directory to Entra ID
• advanced knowledge of:
• methodologies and principles of Zero Trust architecture
• evaluating and optimizing Secure Score across tenants
