Interim Plant Manager

Project overview

As Interim Plant Manager, you will take over the operational leadership of the production site as part of a turnaround program.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Take over overall operational responsibility for the site with a focus on quality, delivery reliability, productivity, and costs
• Analyze the economic and operational initial situation and identify weaknesses
• Develop and consistently implement a turnaround plan with clear measures and goals
• Establish effective shop floor management and implement practical lean measures
• Lead and further develop the operational management team and coordinate closely with the works council
• Ensure transparent performance reports and sustainable process standards
• Several years of experience as a plant manager or in a comparable position with overall operational responsibility in industrial production
• Demonstrable success in the operational restructuring and economic improvement of production sites
• Sound practical knowledge in Lean Management, including shop floor management, 5S, value stream analysis, SMED, and TPM
• Strong understanding of production KPIs and cost structures
• Strong hands-on mentality with regular presence directly in production
• Experience in the glass industry is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Willingness to be frequently present on-site in Mainz
