Project overview

For an enterprise IT environment, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Operations Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on monitoring, event management, and application operations. The role will be in a central operations environment with a focus on ensuring stable and highly available IT services.

• Operation and support of a central monitoring and event management platform
• Analysis, processing, and sustainable resolution of incidents and disruptions
• Implementation and quality assurance of technical changes
• Configuration and optimization of existing system landscapes and interfaces
• Processing of service requests and support for internal users and departments
• Execution of error analyses and troubleshooting measures
• Documentation of solutions and maintenance of knowledge bases
• Participation in ITIL-related operations and service processes
• Several years of experience in IT Operations, Application Management, or Monitoring environments
• Very good knowledge in the operation of monitoring and automation platforms
• Experience in incident, change, and request management
• Sound knowledge in troubleshooting complex IT systems
• Experience in ITIL-based operations organizations
• Experience with service management tools
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Experience with enterprise monitoring solutions
• Experience in operating critical production environments
