Manager Social Domain (interim)

Project overview

The assignment focuses on the management and further development of the social domain within the municipality of Urk, with the following tasks among others:

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Managing staff and teams within the social domain, with clear prioritization and division of responsibilities
• Guiding and executing change assignments, from analysis to implementation and safeguarding
• Inventorying existing organization, working methods, and processes and making proposals for improving effectiveness and quality
• Strengthening collaboration within the social domain and with other departments and external partners
• Advising management and executive board on strategic and policy issues
• Translating executive objectives into concrete results and executable plans
• Monitoring progress, identifying bottlenecks, and adjusting in a timely manner
• Ensuring stability, support, and involvement among staff during the change
• WO work and thinking level
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or management position within the government
• Demonstrable experience in leading multiple teams or a department within the social domain
• Relevant network in the social domain of the province of Flevoland
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing complex change processes and developing organizations
• Experience in managing teams and creating clarity in roles and collaboration
• Knowledge of municipal organizational structures, administrative relationships, and applicable laws and regulations in the social domain
• Experience in optimizing work processes, mutual collaboration, and management within a complex organization
• Strong advisory skills towards management, executive board, and leadership
