Microsoft 365 / Teams Phone Consultant

Project overview

For the further development of a modern communication and collaboration platform, an experienced consultant is sought. The goal is to support the introduction and optimization of cloud-based Microsoft solutions in the area of collaboration and corporate communication.

Responsibilities

• Participation in the further development of the Microsoft 365 landscape with a focus on collaboration services
• Support in the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Teams
• Consulting on the migration of existing telephony systems to modern communication platforms
• Co-design of solutions for cloud-based telephony and voice services
• Development of technical concepts on topics such as site connectivity, fault tolerance, and quality management
• Close cooperation with network, infrastructure, and operations managers
• Support for pilot projects, test scenarios, and feasibility analyses
• Accompanying introduction and rollout phases up to productive operation
• Knowledge transfer to internal specialist and operations teams
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as architecture and operations concepts

Requirements

• Sound practical experience in the Microsoft 365 environment
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Teams and its administration
• Experience with voice and telephony solutions based on Microsoft technologies
• Understanding of modern network architectures and their impact on communication services
• Knowledge of topics such as fault tolerance, site connectivity, and availability concepts
• Experience with Quality of Service (QoS) concepts
• Good knowledge in the area of Identity & Access Management, especially Microsoft Entra ID
• Understanding of hybrid infrastructures and operating models
• Analytical and solution-oriented approach
• Experience in consulting and transformation projects is an advantage
