Policy Advisor Health (interim)

Project overview

The assignment focuses on translating national and regional health agreements into local policy.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Elaborating and implementing the ambitions from the AZWA and RIGA at local and regional level
• Advising management and the executive board on strategic choices regarding regional cooperation
• Drafting executive board and council proposals to support decision-making
• Representing the municipality in regional consultations such as AZWA, RIGA, and GGD
• Coordinating and organizing regional agreements and processes
• Monitoring administrative and financial processes within the SPUK schemes IZA and GALA
• Advising on the capacity and resources needed to structurally anchor the policy from 2028 onwards
• Collaborating with the Health director, the Social Domain team, and external partners such as healthcare providers and health insurers
• Minimum completed HBO bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience within the last 7 years as a policy advisor in the social domain
• Minimum 2 years of work experience on the theme of health, with involvement in policy regarding prevention, primary care, mental health, and/or elderly care
• Experience within the last 5 years with (sub)regional partnerships around IZA, GALA, or similar projects
• Work experience with policy development within the public domain, including administrative documents and financial substantiation
• Work experience with elaboration and implementation of the AZWA and/or RIGA, including translation into local implementation agendas
• Available from November 16, 2026, for an average of 24 hours per week
