SAP Master Data Coordinator

Project overview

We are seeking a senior candidate for the role of SAP Master Data Coordinator with deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and proven experience with data migrations for our client within an extensive technological transformation.

Project requirements

• coordination of key master data migration activities within a broad and complex transition from older systems to the new generation of enterprise ERP
• functioning as a key user at the interface of IT and finance to supplement the existing team, gather internal requirements, and proactively solve technological challenges associated with the migration
• daily utilization of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA systems with a strong process focus on the Master Data domain
• timely identification of risks and warning about potential issues based on previous migration experience
• hybrid form of cooperation including 1 day per week onsite in Prague or Central Bohemia and the remaining days remote
• advanced experience with:
• coordination and management of stakeholders, business users, and external consultants on SAP projects (at least 3–5 years)
• implementation and rollouts of the SAP S/4HANA system to new entities and countries
• management of the cutover phase, including data freeze and verification of open sales orders
• advanced knowledge of:
• processes and documents in the areas of SAP MM and SAP SD and their relation to master data (Material Master sales views, price lists)
• Business Partner structure (Sold-to, Payer, Ship-to) and SD pricing logic (condition technique, pricing procedure determination)
• experience with:
• dual master data maintenance in concurrently running systems SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
• managing communication across multiple project streams in an international environment
• knowledge of:
• Czech language or Slovak language at native or fluent level for daily coordination
• English language at an advanced level (C1) for international communication
