For a globally active IT shared services division of a consumer goods group, an experienced ServiceNow & Jira Developer is sought to develop an automation solution for integrating Jira time tracking data into ServiceNow reporting.

• Start: ASAP / upon agreement
• Duration: 3–6 months (with option for extension)
• Remote/On-Site: Hybrid (predominantly remote)
• Utilization: approx. 50–60 %
• Analysis of existing time tracking structures in Jira (Atlassian) and reporting requirements in ServiceNow
• Conception and development of an automated interface (REST API / Integration) between Jira and ServiceNow for transferring time booking data
• Implementation of a validation logic for verifying and, if necessary, grouping the transmitted data before importing it into ServiceNow
• Replacement of the current manual process (manual data entry into ServiceNow input masks) with a scalable, automated solution
• Evaluation and, if necessary, implementation of AI-supported automation approaches (e.g., Microsoft Copilot Agents) as a supplementary or alternative solution
• Configuration and customization of ServiceNow reporting modules for displaying aggregated activity and time data
• Documentation of the developed solution and handover to the internal IT team
• Must-have: Proven development experience on the ServiceNow platform (scripting, REST API, reporting)
• Must-have: Profound knowledge of the Atlassian Tech Stack, especially Jira (API usage, time tracking modules)
• Experience in developing API integrations (REST/JSON) between enterprise systems
• Knowledge in implementing validation and transformation logic within data integration processes
• Desirable: Experience with Microsoft Copilot Agents or comparable AI-supported automation tools
• Experience in ITSM processes and global IT service management environment is an advantage
• Fluent English is mandatory (corporate language); German language skills are an advantage
• Independent, structured way of working with the ability to analyze and implement processes independently
