For a hospital in Munich, I am looking for an experienced technical IT sub-project manager for hospital IT, including the telematics infrastructure, system migration & 2nd level – 60-90% onsite Munich.

Responsibilities

• Conception and planning of system migrations, considering medical, technical, and regulatory requirements
• Consulting and technical IT sub-project management for hospital-specific software projects according to PRINCE2®, especially for the AEMP software conversion to instacount
• Review of functional concepts from an IT perspective and identification of open questions and technical dependencies
• Technical support for specialist departments during software introductions, migrations, and other IT projects
• Optimization and active support of the telematics infrastructure with card terminals and RISE connectors, including configuration and error analysis
• Technical sub-project management and troubleshooting for prescription, label, and needle printers as well as scanners (e.g., from Epson, CipherLab, Honeywell, and Kodak)
• Analysis and optimization of processes, interfaces, data flows, and technical connections (e.g., in the print server environment)
• Support for 2nd level support according to ITIL for more complex tickets and technical error patterns
• Coordination with specialist departments, internal IT teams, and external manufacturers, as well as ensuring technical documentation

• Sound practical experience in the technical support of IT projects, system migrations, or software introductions
• Experience in IT sub-project management and in evaluating functional and technical requirements
• Practical experience with the telematics infrastructure, especially card terminals, connectors, and typical fault patterns
• Experience with label and needle printers as well as error analysis for printer connections, drivers, print servers, and device configurations
• Experience in technical 2nd level support and in the structured analysis of complex tickets
• Experience in the hospital environment and in supporting clinical specialist departments or from comparable regulatory environments in Healthcare / Life Science
• Good understanding of IT infrastructures, interfaces, data flows, and network and firewall dependencies
• Strong hands-on mentality as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach at the interface between specialist departments, IT, and support
• Very good German language skills (min. C1)
• Willingness for a high on-site component in Munich
• Knowledge of AEMP processes, sterile supply / ZSVA or instacount
• Experience with RISE connectors and the mentioned printer and scanner manufacturers (Epson, CipherLab, Honeywell, and Kodak)
• Experience with Windows 10 / Windows 11 migrations and client rollouts
• Experience with Baramundi in software distribution
• Knowledge of PRINCE2® and ITIL
• Experience with other clinical software projects
• Start: immediately / ASAP
• Location: hybrid, approx. 60-90% Onsite Munich
• Utilization: Full-time (min. 4 days / week)
• Duration: 12 months, option to extend
